The Tires and Treads Community Project obtained official 100% non-profit status on February 14th, 2018!
Our mission is to provide elementary schools with adequately stocked clothing cabinets, ensuring faculty members peace of mind knowing that any child in need of a change of clothes or new shoes can be gifted immediately. We furnish essential items like shoes, socks, underclothes, leggings, sweatpants, shirts, winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens and winter boots. Everything is new, making children's lives a little brighter! We partner with two schools yearly, hosting car shows for them to inspire all kids to dream big! Child-friendly cars are available for photo opportunities and once in a lifetime experiences. We also walk beside locally terminally ill children, making adventures happen. With our 4,000+ followers, we have the ability to make almost anything a reality for these children, enabling meaningful community-level experiences. |
